The Prodigy story starts back in 2021 in Auckland, New Zealand, where we founded Gym Junkie — a gym equipment business we built from the ground up into one of New Zealand's leading fitness equipment stores.
Prodigy is led by our brother, who has called Melbourne home for over 20 years. With deep roots in the city and a passion for the fitness industry, he was the natural fit to bring the brand to Australian shores. In early 2025, we secured our distribution centre in Cowes on Phillip Island — and Prodigy Fitness Supplies was born.
We're still the same family-run team we've always been. Staff are on-site Monday to Friday, and our customer service team is available 7 days a week. We know this industry inside out — and we built Prodigy to do it right.
